Big Horn Ram

Shot near the Hoover Dam late Monday evening. I've always heard there were big horns near the dam, but this is the first time I've seen them. Pretty big flock! Sadly by the time I got there, some schmuck with a P&S was chasing them away trying to get close. This was the best I could do, but no complaints.

Tech: Canon 5DMII, 100-400 L IS, @365mm, ISO800, F5.6 (wide open), 1/200s, hand-held. I love this lens.

Thanks for looking.

    Very nice, Joel.thumb.gif

You should have posted a pic of the schmuck, so we could print it out and throw darts at it!

    Excellent capture Joel. clap.gif

A number of years back I had a similar experience in the same area. The poor longhorn rams had a pack of tourists with P&Ss chasing them all over the hillside.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
