I like this a lot. But his face looks overprocessed somehow. Noise reduction?

Glad you like it. I very much like it too. Taken this evening at a spontaneous gathering in an area I've been documenting. They'd just received notice that the block was to be vacated in two years for new development.

The image was over-exposed and I did a whole lot of whole image recovery. I could rework for a while, but this is where your PP magic and expertise could definitely help.

ETA: I don't do noise reduction. Don't like those buttons.

I'll take a whack at it. Can I get the raw file? Or a fill sized jpeg as close to raw as possible. You can probably just email to me.

Thanks B.D. It's not so much paranoia than grassroots activism. The buzz was around the money the middleman / manager was going to make as he talked them into taking settlements to move out sooner than later. They'd printed articles and prepared a flyer and I'm sure there will be h*ll to pay for the first person that makes a visit tomorrow to begin negotiations.

In the end they'll have to move, but the stubborn ones can and do make it very painful and drawn out for the developers. It's part of the story I'm developing.

Rutt performed some magic on the original Raw file to recover the original over exposed image. Here's the new and improved version.

I played around even more after I gave Jenn something to work with. I might have improved a little on her final post here, but maybe not. One's eye really go bad after working on the same image for too long. After a few days, this looks damn good to me now.

    Great image.
