Howdy All,

Been working on some of the remaining Nova Scotia Images.

Still in love with Hall's Harbor, just the look and feel of things.

Terrific shot, Craig. That's my favorite of the bunch so far.

    Take care,

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I haven't seen the bunch yet, but this one is really nice. Very interesting.

The image is very sharp, well adjusted, from you vantage point, well framed.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Really good photo Craig thumb.gif

The texture of the rocks really show in this photo. Those boats look like litte toys when out of water.

Never noticed the little lighthouse on the left walkway in the cam..wonder if they remove it during the winter time.

This is stunning, Craig. You're getting quite a lot of IR mileage out of this D70s.

The trees seem perfectly vertical, yet the horizon line (top right of the frame) looks crooked... Not sure how that happened shooting at 18mm on a DX sensor. That being said, what seems to be a crooked horizon works great for the image somehow, in my opinion. All the main lines in the frame (creek, fence, pier, horizon, etc.) seem in balance. (Not sure if I'm making a lot of sense, if any... it's late and I'm tired :D)

    Howdy Tom,

Thanks very much, I like each of the different perspectives for different
    reasons.

Can't wait to get back to that area again, we are still just in awe of the tidal changes.

    Howdy Mary,

    Thanks very much!!!

I think the webcams view is pointed past the Little Lighthouse, if you look at the relationship between it and the sign next time when you see the webcam you'll see what I mean.

    Howdy Federico,

Thanks very much for the kind reply and comments.

I think what you are seeing is the cloud layer and not the Horizon, the clouds were very thick that day and moved in and out. It probably has a little shift also due to perspective I was shooting at.

    Thanks again!!!!

    Howdy Gary,

    Thanks very much,

Yes, the tidal flow on the Bay of Fundy is one of greatest places to see the tidal flow.

They have the boats tied so when the water comes in they don't rub each other.

Here's the webcam, one of my favorites<G>

You can check on it at different times and see how the water level is doing.

They are having a lot of Winter Weather, so a lot of snow and ice everywhere.

check this webcam out to see the results of a Horizonal Tidal Change

    Hey Craig,

Great shot thumb.gif Love the perspective. I can't believe how much smaller the boats on the left are. I know they are smaller craft, but they look shoe size compared to the others.
