I just received this head for a CF tripod I ordered. My question was on the use of the pan lock. The midi ball head works in all 360 directions unlocked and locks with the ball lock; however, after reading the directions too many times I thought i'd come here to ask: how do you use the pan lock in the +- 90 for panorama? I cannot seem to get it to do anything different once I lock/unlock it.
