    Very nice image, I'd bump up the contrast a little bit.

    I like the comp of the variation better. The mud seems to balance it out for me. I also like the texture of the mud.

    Thank you. I like this one better myself. For me the colors and contrast look a little better also.

    Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

    Thank you Mahesh and Tom. The first was an experiment of sorts that kept getting bands arcing across the sky when I tried to push the contrast up. The second is doing what has become more of my usual thing with blending two exposures. Much easier to work with for me anymore.

    I like how it's so strange-looking.
