    I think the settings are fine. The image itself is slightly out-of-focus. Or rather the focus itself (AF) seems to have caught the grass just in front of him instead of zeroing in on the eye. Very good angle!

    That is it. I had it in single focus point and I was probably focusing on the middle of it. Focusing on the eye would have been much better. Thanks for the tip.

    I think shooting wildlife is really hard because I'm just so excited to see whatever it is that I'm forgetting the photo stuff.
