My Last Wedding for 2009
I don't normally post stuff here to share but here goes...
I shot this wedding on December 22. The groom had been out of the country and in the navy and the bride really wanted to be married before Christmas so the 22nd had to make due. They got married in the little presbyterian church she had grown up in.... It was a very modest wedding that her mother did an amazing job of making look great. I was really happy that, although it was not a high end wedding, the bride highly valued her photography! The really odd part was she had booked me having ONLY viewed my equestrian photography! It wasn't until after she signed a contract that she went and took a look at my wedding portfolio!
Here are some of the pictures of the big day:
1. I did NOT tell the bridesmaids to line up like this - they just did it....

7. Ok- I only had about 20 mins TOPS with the B&G after the wedding to catch these next few shots before the Limo came and picked them up for their honeymoon.
8.
9. One of the rooms at the church had all these verses written on the walls. This particular verse "love is patient..." was at just the right level to get a shot of them sitting in front of it. I wished I had had more time to play with this set-up more but I was still pretty happy with the resulting images I was able to get.
10. This image reminds me of the "farmers" painting... you know the one with the old man and lady holding the pitch fork? I find it a bit humorous as they both had VERY outgoing personalities.
11. Bride told me this is her favorite shot.

I wish all weddings were this fun to shoot! Everyone was really into the pictures and it was easy to get "the" shot on the first try as it wasn't hard to talk anyone into doing something "funny" for the group shots etc. - this made it easier since I really did not have much time to get all the needed shots in after the ceremony. Let me know what you think of 'em!
