Trigger-otomy 101

Please first allow me an apology for posting yet another question regarding triggers. (there's 2 previous threads just below this one. :crazy< that's me! )

I believe my question was probably answered but unfortunately I have, what I believe, amounts to a very direct "yes or no" type situation.

Scenario: The application is there and both the money and time is warranted to obtain some pocket wizards. After much research I will be utilizing this brand. (not just using the name generically for demonstration purposes) It looks as if 2 is the minimum in order to use these and not only that but they don't come with the sync cable?

Am I a total newbie moron or is this the case?

Yes, you will need two. One for the transmission of the signal - this one will be connected to your camera, usually mounted on the hotshoe. The second will be the receiver and will be connected to the flash. Sync cables - the come with a short cable - see my FS thread for pictures.
