I seem to do this every winter. I don't get out to shoot as often as I would like. The weather is bad, it's too cold, the lighting is not good today... I forget why I started taking pictures in the first place. It's fun, great exercise and is a huge stress relief. Oh well, spring is just around the corner.

Here are some shots I did manage to take in the last few weeks.

#1 Green teal

#6 headless hawk

#7 I thought this was unique. Very similar looking birds color wise. Robbin and Towhee

I really like the red-winged black bird shot. marshes around here ina summer are just full of their songs and flittings. They're beautiful birds and you've caught that perfectly.

Good set Mark. We all need to get out more. Winter should not deter us. My weather down here is gonna drop to the 40s :yikes tomorrow but I'm gonna tough it out.

I have nice collection of headless raptors myself.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
