    I really like #2. #3, too, but my eyes are drawn to the windows in #2.

    I'm just me (and not an expert or anything), but #2 evoked a "wow" from me.

    #2 definitely over #3.
    BUT #1 is different enough to stand out, so you still would have to choose between 1 & 2.

    Yes, this is the Cloisters. I'm not sure if it was used in the DaVinci Code.

    I have to put the Cloisters on my list of "must visit agains" the next time I am in NYC... Damn list is about 5 weeks long at this point...

    Its a wonderful place to visit. Very peaceful, very beautiful. You can photograph with tripod (no flash) during the week and Saturdays before noon.
