Oklahoma Winter

This has been a nasty winter for everyone I guess. I am so ready for spring I can't see straight. We haven't seen much sun over the last few weeks, which is unusual for this area. This shot was taken looking west from the highest point in Grady County Oklahoma. (Pretty sad huh) This was the day after an ice storm that left everything coated in about 1/2" of ice. Taken with a Nikon D90 and 16-85mm VR lens and some obvious PP.

rich in detail, yet very bleak. I like it. I'm dying for one more snow storm up here, but they don't make it. It's getting harder and harder to find worthy subjects.

Very well done. The real B&W aficionados will probably call for more contrast....blacker blacks.... but, as far as I'm concerned, you nailed it just right. Good work.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Wow, almost has an Infra-red feel to it. Very nice!
