Setting Up New Dell 2209w

Greetings. I'm in the process of setting up a new Dell s2209w.

I've done this before, but can't remember the settings, and my other one is in another location.

The text is looking a bit too crisp and a little pixelated, with black halos surrounding my icons.

Dell is recommending 1920x1080.

This doesn't look right to me.

Any suggestions?

I have re-set to factory settings, and all looks okay. I must have done something quirky while trying to calibrate.
