I didn't think that the D200 had an IR remote capability. Does it have an IR port or is it a tethered remote only?
Your quite right .. it has alwasy surpised me that as a feature Nikon dos
not have that feature .. it has to be after-market .. so am taking an inventory on waht is the best . thanks don:ivar
Unless you really need an IR remote for some specialized application, the RF remotes that Art and I mentioned are probably the best choice.
A major benefit of RF is that it works from any direction from the camera. The IR solutions used for some other cameras have difficulty unless the IR transmitter is aimed directly at the receiver (or you provide a reflected light path to the receiver).
