New to the landscape forum as I am usually a portrait photographer but really want to get into landscapes! I had the opportunity to take a quick vacation to Naples Florida and experience a gulf coast sunset. There were only 2 not totally cloudy nights so these were taken those 2 days. c/c appreciated.

The 1st one is lovely. The gulls around the sun really make it serene. thumb.gif
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap but memories are priceless.

The first image has a lot of drama! I really like the sky; not sure about that almost middle horizon, but then I don't know if a crop will work as you have some motion in the waves there....

I like the second one as is. :)

The first shot is definitely stronger, but they are both excellent. I don't see an issue with the not quite middle horizon, it adds something different to the shot imo. What I especially like about the first one is the sense that it is telling a story, this is something I am struggling with in my photography, but you've got it spot on I think.

I really like #2. Nice colors on it and nice crop.

very lovely. i concur with most that #1 with the sun/clouds/waves and gulls is stronger.
