I was going out the driveway today when UPS was coming in. :barb
SO in between calls I went to a favorite and reliable Turkey spot. I could see the difference in my view finder between new TC and my 1.7. Contrast and colors were better. Will be doing more comparisons later but very pleased so far.
D300 Nikon AF-S 200mm f2 with TC-20e III @ f5 1/500 converted to jpg from RAW no adjustments or sharpening.

The 1.7 work well with the 200mm f2 , the new 2X III is even better. More contrast and color, AF is still quick on this lens. Tried it in better light today and it was even better, I am heading out early tomorrow to really give it a good exercise. Hope the sun will cooperate with some good light instead of clouds.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I cant vouch for the 400mm 500mm 600mm, but it is a dream on my 200mm f2 I am having to readjust my distance sense, it is only 60mm more but it makes quite a difference lots of wing clips. AF does not suffer but I am still at f4. I need to set up my lens fine tune lab to make sure it is spot on. I keep saying this but the color and contrast is noticeable right off the bat. I took a lot of shots today but now have to find time to process.

This Coopers Hawk was dining on a pigeon up in our tree. The wife was yelling at the cat for getting a bird. There were feathers all over the yard. He was doing his thing and the wind was doing it's.
