Updating LR raw converter

Sorry - I KNOW I've seen this question before but am on the road and can't find the answer when I really need it....

I have LR2 and just acquired a 50d which needs the updated raw converter. How do I update LR to reflect it? I only have CS3 so won't be able to do it through bridge, I guess.

Again, apologies for asking what I know is a common question, but I'm hoping somebody will take pity on me and offer up the quick answer (I usually research it myself and don't ask - a thousand pardons this time!!! :bow :bow :bow)

Madelaine,

Open Lightroom while connected to the Web.

Click on Help -> Check for Updates and it will download and install for you if you just say yes....

Software is SO hard!!

LR 2.6 supports that camera:

Thanks both (and apologies again for being "that person" who asks the question that's been answered a zillion times...... I swear I do know how to use google, I"m just on limited net access and speed was of the essence....) You guys rock!

So does CS3...just make sure you have ACR 4.6 installed.

Congrats on the 50D. I'm quite happy with mine.

And, the CS3 update process is just as hard as it is for LR - simple stuff!
