Some plant type shots. All focus stacked using zerene stacker. Taken with an MPE-65 from 1:1 to around 4:1.

I guess I need to learn what stacking is.... these are just great.
leaforte- I just find stereo shots so evocative of the original subject. Although I was interested how 3-D the first shot looked.
Deecajun - focus stacking is a way of increasing the DOF in a photo by combining shots taken at different focus depths. Tutorial here http://www.wonderfulphotos.com/articles/macro/focus_stacking/

do you think it would be possible to prevent the shiny highlights in the liverworts?

re the liverworts might be possible to do something with flash/lens angle but I wasn't trying too hard - they have very shiny leaves - I was mainly after those little sporing structures. Fraid I don't chimp shots or whatever it's called
