OK this is wild, ...

A couple from South Africa were travelling on the QM2, withe QE2 alongside, when they lost their camera, with all of their pictures on it, into the Atlantic. Around a year later a fisherman netted the camera and the SD card was still intact and functional. The pictures from the card were posted on the Internet, along with the story of how they were found, and ultimately the story made it onto TV. A friend of the couples' saw the pictures and notified the couple who claimed the pictures and camera.

Sweet! Anytime you hear of anyone losing a camera they mostly were sad over the loss of the photos. I bet they were ecstatic.

This poor lady can relate... she slipped on the dock and her camera fell into the ocean. (Notice the splash)
