Q flash

Has any of you guys used Q Flash for your weddings? I currently have 2 580EX, but so far have only had small receptions to light. I was thinking about possibly upgrading since it'll be another portable and more powerful setup for onlocation portraits too.

    I have a couple of them and I love em. Plenty of power and flexability. Only downside is their size. Quantum has a really good website with lessons on how to use their equipment.

    Do you have their older models or these new T5d/trio? I was reading that ETTL is pretty glitchy. Although I haven't used ETTL OCF on my 580s yet, I was thinking about it.

    I have Q5Ds which I prefer to shoot in Fill flash mode. Occasionaly I use ETTL on P mode at functions where I need to move fast and don't have much time to think. I have yet to find a TTL mode that is really worthwhile on any system. JMHO. If you're looking for a system that will take the thought process out of photography this won't do it.
