Was asked about the Magnification on the tubes. No simple answer as this depends on what type of lens you are "extending" and in what combination you use the tubes.
Here is a quick an dirty example of a shot of a dime.
1st photo is of the dime at 1:1 magnification with my new Tamron 60mm f2..0 lens. The second is also of the same dime at maximum magnification while using all three tube. So with this example the shot went from being 1:1 to about 2.5:1 or about 2.5X more magnification. Your mileage will vary based on your specific lens.
(BTW - I meant quick and dirty, no great care was taken in lighting, exposure or even focus. Nor were the photos adjusted in any way).
