I used this several times then sold my iMac and began using a Macbook Pro. It was more convienent to use my expresscard slot instead, so I no long need this reader.
I have Lexar, Sandisk, and Prospec 4-16 gig cards and it reads them all.
The small adapter you see lets you convert to Firewire 400.
