Wow! I kind of hope this was done at a zoo, but usually snakes are behind glass and in dimly lit rooms! How did you manage to get such nice colors?

This was shot with an Olympus E-510 and a Zuiko 70-300mm lens which I got rid of in favor of the Nikon D90 a move I still regret:cry The little Oly and that glass kicked the Nikon's ass! The little Garter snake was sunning itself on the trail I was walking.
