I like the first one best... you really should take better care of your lures... Laughing.gif

    Hey Darren,

That's what drew me to these also. Thanks for the comment!

Very nicely shot, Randy. The technical execution really stands out. Some of these old lures are worth insane dollars.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I like the head detail in 1 but the sharp hook qualitys in 2 is very appealing.
Maybe for me... its just the DOF in 2 seems to race away too quickly to see
what I feel I want to see from the lure tip. Picky, picky, picky. :D

Again with that nice style processing you do. thumb.gif

    Thanks Tom,

I was just messin' with the extension tubes I purchased a while back, but have never used, well, till these.

    Hey Michael,

Even at f/13 (if I remember correctly) there just wasn't much DOF. I was using a 17-40 and an extension tube. It appears that some experimentation is in order to get a grasp on using extension tubes and lenses of different focal lengths. Almost too many combinations to get my head around ne_nau.gif

Seems moving up, down, around the learning curve is never ending.

Always something to piece together from nearly scratch. Least it feels like from scratch at times.

For the number of times I have tried to preview DOF in camera I find it
doesn't help as much as I need it too. Sometimes the DOF doesn't
even appear to change much or at all. Grrrrrr.....

One of these days I am going to break down and buy extension
tubes. Maybe once I stop throwing money at other stuff I think
    I need. :D Michael
