You know, I happen to have a few cute photos, but I can't write cute, just can't.

Ben? Anyone?
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Hey Harry, I found the other post regarding your surgery after I posted the question. Happy to know you're back at the keyboard and that all is well.

No time to create a card for you but all my best wishes. A beer bottle isn't too heavy to lift is it ole' man? Cheers!!! thumb.gif

Thanks Angelo. The beer is a great idea but you'll have to talk to Linda. She feels that the pain pills make me stupid enough and a beer chaser might endanger western civilization. :D

Hey, Harry, man, you gotta slow down, I downloaded a bunch of my webshot cute puppy photos for cards for you!

If you are well enough to go after orphans, you ........... you, well, I would hate to have to trash the cute puppy downloads.

Glad the pain pills work for you, but doesn't it make you feel fuzzy? You seem to be operating (just realized that word is relevant here, rolleyes1.gif ) very well after that surgery.

Bring on those cute puppies!!!! I gruff about cute pictures but between you me I kind of like them.

Right now I go through flurries of activity (typing, nothing physical) to periods of collapse. I'm pretty good after I take my pain medication but I tire fast. I am kind of surprised at how perky I am. I had similar surgery in 2001 and I was a zombie for two weeks. This surgery turned out to be a double hernia and so far it has been a lot easier.

I won't be able to shoot for about a week :cry but I did a lot of shooting right before the surgery so I have a real backlog of shots to process (I figured it would give me something to do while I recuperated).

Harry what pills do they have you on? Must be something really good for you to admit liking cute photos. Glad to see your doing good just dont over do it. Linda is right though beer and pain pills isn't good. A vodka chaser might be better :): .

Some generic called hydrocodone. 500mg. Wonderful stuff and the doc was kind enough to give me 3 refills on the perscription. clap.gif

Harry, I know I promised you a card. I just can't get moving today. I need to take my "happy, get moving pills". Yeah, I do have those.

I hope that you are feeling OK, or as good as could be, etc. I know you not only had surgery in the AM, yesterday, but you were busy online after that.

And you still have to watch for orphans.

    later,

ginger (you gotta stay down for a bit, wear yourself out, the recovery will take longer. And that might be a crock, too.) I had a friend who had a hernia operation in the 80s, seems like he lounged around in bed, at my place on the beach at the time, for a month. They probably improved everything since then. And better pills, smile.

If I didn't feel kind of bad about rehoming that dog, I would put that up on the wall for me. Best advice I can think of. I am sure there is a medical
    basis.

ginger (She is a very happy well loved dog with a great family) But she loved
that toy. Bought her a new one every year she was here: about 2 yrs.
