I'm cheating because I may never make it to Africa (can we pretend?). Took these at the SB Zoo thru scratched shatterproof glass. I just love these guys and had to share a little, just for fun.

The blue crested is excellent. The gorillas are nice but the WB is off. I don't shoot through glass and maybe that is part of the problem in these. At least in our zoo (Miami) the gorillas are in the open and easy to catch at 200-300mm or even less.

Yeah, I had a really tough time with PP on these because of that dang glass. Wish I could capture some in open scenery.

Why not? Just captive wildlife, but still wildlife; right?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
