Hey Nancy - Like Andy said, check out the great help forums and threads.

You should try posting in the Customization forum for a lot of great help, too.

Here is a basic Customization thread to get you started. In there is a link to for a thread on setting up a Guestbook, too.

If you're following the answer in the customization FAQ about how to make a Guestbook (# 29 at http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq), lock the gallery style into Journal (Old), not Journal.

Or you can use an HTML-only gallery, as described at http://allen-steve.smugmug.com/gallery/3819841.
