A Lady's Touch

Heard my son arguing with his little sister while they played. I went into their room to see what the fight was about and was met with this scene.

Apparently my son thought the princess wasn't fit for duty. My daughter thought different. :D

Your son was probably afraid the princess would distract the soldiers :D

Cute photo Liz...reminded me when my brother and I would play with my Barbies and his Johnny West.

    Great picture!

…puts me in mind of the scene in "Spaceballs" where Dark Helmet is discovered playing with his Spaceballs dolls…

    :D

Nice shot! Great composition, depth of field, light… …v. nice! thumb.gif

I think the real crux of the argument might have been; Was she trying to participate in, or end the war?

Nice slice of life Liz thumb.gif

    Mary Kim,
You are not alone--a few people who have seen this shot say it takes them back to when they were little--so that is a great feeling for me.

    Thanks for looking and commenting.

One of my all time favorite movies.

    "I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roomate" :)

Also I used my Zuiko 25mm prime on this shot and I love the DoF results.

    Thanks Will.

Hi Liz.......In the 60s there was a theory that men went to war to get away from women .......probably didn't have a thing to do with not fit for duty.:D

    NICE SHOT....... azzaro

    Thanks Randy,
This was taken oh about 10 seconds before he gave her the final boot and she went Godzilla on his men.

What I like about this shot is that the men are in a circle and my 2 year old placed her princess in the middle as if on stage, like the spot was waiting for her arrival. Hey maybe she's part of the USO show.

    Hee hee,
I just told my husband and he laughed so hard and says it's probably a valid theory.

    Thanks for the laugh.

I thinking those troops should backoff if they care to see the end of the day.

This movie does have a following--wonder what it says about its fans.

    "Get set for ludicrous speed"

    "Funny she doesn't look Druish"

I can go on for days.

A lesson learned too late I'm afraid. My daughter used her princess like a whirling dervish and knocked them all off the ledge.
