I'm a bit confused...

I'm not very good at identifying birds, let alone their genders! I wonder, could somebody help me clarify whether this is a female cardinal or, perhaps, a juvenile male cardinal. I apologize for the fuzziness in the image. It was absolutely frigid outside and my hands were cold! Things weren't very "stable" (And besides that, I'm a beginner :D ).

Believe it's a Female, however I'm no expert.
It could well be a Male in Winter Coat.

That wasn't much help was it ? ne_nau.gif

This appears to be a female. Adults have pink/orange/red beaks. You can tell an immature cardinal by it's yellowish to tannish beak.

Although the photo is a little blurry and washed out, you captured a nice pose witha nice catch-light in her eye.

When you come to a door... walk through it.
If it's locked... find an open window.
