winter cardinals

these were taken through the deck window with my 70-200 and 1.4 teleconveter. he was nice enough to sit and pose for a while. cropped a bit, very little post, just some desaturating a bit and a little sharpening.

he was so nice to just sit for a while.....

ok, i will quit now. they look kind of soft on my laptop but looked ok in photoshop. there was very little PP on these.

    there fine. The softness you speak comes from:

    shooting thru window and desaturation in post usually requires adding back some contrast.
