Looking for some food:

Caught this one while it was fairly cloudy, so I figured a B&W conversion might help the mood. Does it work?

I love the first one, like the second one. I think the exposure was brilliant, I would have underexposed, I am sure.

On the blk/white thing, to me a seagull is blk/white, and a sky can be light, so I don't think it is a big help in that photo. I wouldn't have known if it is a conversion if you hadn't pointed it out. Just IMHO.
    of course.

    Hey Tristan,

Te first shot is excellent and the second is a good bif. I have tried capturing bIFs with my 717 in the past and it ain't an easy capture. I didn't realize it was a B&W conversion until you mentioned it.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks guys. The first was a bit UE out of the camera, but I was able to bring some life back to it in post. I think I got it right without going too far. I may redo the BIF - it's a fairly tight crop and maybe I can do something with the little color that was there.
