A week in Texas

I traveled around Texas this week for business and personal reasons. The first two shots are HDR, taken in downtown San Antonio. The third image is not HDR taken close to the Oklahoma boarder. The last shot was taken today after a short snow storm.

I think #3 is jaw-dropping! A simple subject, yet packed with emotion and mood. Great shot!

wapiti - Yes, I'm using Photomatix. I find it fairly easy to use and the results are very consistent. I don't have Photoshop, just LR2 and Capture NX2. Only minor changes were made after using Photomatix in LR2 for the posted images.
The third shot was one of the last shots taken yesterday. I was just walking by and happen to see it. I would have liked the photo better had the chair been a wooden beach chair, but overall I liked the shot. I used LR2 to soften the background which really added to the look.
