The mid range color of alot of trees can be challenging, I had to add alot of contrast and used "Clarify" in PSP which is similar to playing with the histogram.

    Hi Linda,
Wow!!clap.gif. Not only nice shots, but good PP as well. #3 seems a little soft though, but I like the comp. One of these days I'll get back to the park, but not till the tourista season is over. I'm more interested in shooting a sunrise over Mono lake and doing Bodie until the people thin out. But with shots like this, the motivation is even greater to get there and do some shooting.
Now, where can I buy some time to do thatne_nau.gif.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Chris

Note: It may be in bad taste, but I'd crosspost these into landscape as well. They're more than just an IR picthumb.gif.

A picture is but words to the eyes.

Thanks guys, I found a folder that was hidden and had about 14 more photosrolleyes1.gif . Sure made me want to go back there, although I bet the water isn't quite as impressive in the summertime! This was June. I'd like to do the lakes too! The pass was closed. So many shooting possibilities it's non stop!

Yeah, I think I'll do #3 over. I like the dark trees in front, but it needs some work. The woods are so thick up in the northern area. I'd also like to come up via Lee Vining/June Lakes/Mono. Havn't done that in years, since skiing.

Thanks Chris, maybe I'll put the link there in a post. Inever know where to put these!mwink.gif
