    Hi Lindsay,
Aren't rodeos fun. I took 500+ shots at the Reno rodeo last month and was really surprised at what the camera captures (expressions, action). Pretty hard to miss when someone is trying to be thrown off a horse, bull, etc.
Nice action captures. My biggest issue was having a busy background, but after looking at other rodeo shots, it's just part of the game. The shot I wish I had captured was an 8 second clock with the rider still going strong. I do have a blurry one:cry.

Do you have a site with more shots? I do like looking at these.

    Thanks for posting,
    Chris

And that's why they wear helmets:D.

A picture is but words to the eyes.
    Comments are always welcome.

Right now my website is under construction. I'm going to try and have it ready soon. I want to at least have a bit of one ready to go. I'll let everyone know when its up and running. Thanks.

Lindsay: Thanks for the great rodeo pix. Conicidentally, I was in Idaho Falls, ID shooting the War Bonnet Roundup about the same time you were here. I'll post some of these on this forum shortly.

These are great action shots. Makes me want to go shoot at a rodeo. I'd like to see more shadow detail. Did you shoot in raw? If so, you can probably open up the shadows and even if you didn't shoot in raw you may be able to. Try shadow/highlight in PS2. If you did shoot in raw, move the shadow slider until there is no clipping during conversion and then try shadow/highlight.
    If not now, when?

I can't remember if I shot in raw. I think this was before I starting shooting in RAW. Thanks for the tip. I'll try that.
