Collected Galleries: Search and Sharing

I tried searching for the answer to these 2 questions but it doesn't seem like anyone has asked before:

1) I have a gallery of collected photos. If I search for a keyword contained in some of the collected photos then the search results show 0 results. For example, I have several photos tagged with "moon" but if I search for moon I get no results. Is searching in collected galleries not possible? Is it a feature that might be added?

2) I tried to send an email to someone with a link to the same gallery of collected photos. I received the message "Sorry, that image doesn't appear to be sharable." The original image is shareable and if I go to it in the Original Gallery then I can send the link. In the collected gallery I can "Get a Link" and manually send an email but I can't have smugmug send the email to the gallery of collected photos. Is this a bug? Is this intended? Will it be an added feature?
