Both wonderful captures. I do like #2 more due to the composition and lighting -- almost as if you studio lit it with the lighting from under and the OOF background elements.
The second could benefit from a tad of noise reduction, especially in the magenta area (top center).
THnaks for replying dlplumer. Yes there is still some noise but that is a result of the high iso needed to actually shoot it. I've run some noise reduction on it already and may try to apply more but I don't want to make it look fake.

Randy: you are correct .. these are some pretty tough shots to get as they go. Wicked low lighting shot at ISO 1250 100mm macro lens on my 5DMKII.
