I think I willed this little guy to look back over his shoulder as we exited the subway

Your eyes are feeling heavy.... you are getting tired of your camera... you have an overpowering need to make a selfless sacrifice to a photographer far far away... mwink.gif

Beautiful. I've stalked and I've stalked waiting for this to happen when the composition worked and it never happened to me. Very nice.
I was walking behind his man and for some reason he stopped and turned.
    If not now, when?

The master must have whispered in the boy's ear then. rolleyes1.gif I don't know what possessed him to glance back but I was thrilled that he did.

    Excellent catch, Patti thumb.gif

Tell me something did you take a couple of shots before you got this one?

    Reason:
Just wandering if a trick we use in Wildlife works with people. I'm thinking the boy heard your shutter and turned. he has that what was that noise look to him. :D

Quite possibly. I took one before this. It's so noisy down there though that even with perfectly normal hearing I'd be surprised if he could pick it out of such a negative signal to noise ratio. I'll keep that ol' trick of yours up my sleeve for next time though. clap.gif

You'd be surprised what little Corn Fields can hear thru the noise. :D
In fact that reminds me, I have my little S90 on silent just might have to turn on shutter click on
when in a situation like that. thumb.gif

I work in hearing health care so I probably wouldn't be surprised. rolleyes1.gif
