Handsome young man. I like the profile pose.
The focus is a bit off -- the zipper seems pretty sharp, but his eye isn't.

Do you have that problem sometimes, you look at an image and you think it is in focus, and somehow you know it is not in focus but you just can't find why?

Not sure I understand your question. If you have a shallow dof, recomposing the image can throw off your focus; kids move a bunch in general so time from focus->shutter matters. My eyes are old enough that they don't focus perfectly anymore, so I count on the AF and use single AF points to know where my focus is.

Looking at the larger version of the image, the focus is much crisper than I thought initially. It's not tack sharp, but it may be that the compression down to the smaller size affected the eyes/lashes more than the zipper making it seem softer (relatively) than the original.

Some stuff that I plan on putting on Dgrin, I export from LR as 800 pixel so that I get the benefit of the adaptive sharpening on the jpg conversion in LR to the size I want you to see.
