The two color shots are gorgeous! thumb.gif

There's nothing really "wrong" with the B&W, but the color version has such vibrance and excellent mood, I feel like I'm missing out when looking at the B&W.

Laughing.gif! Thanks, Scott. Winter is not over yet... there's always another chance to experience frostbite and gangrene!

Thank you, Chris. I know what you mean, the B&W version pales in comparison. Plus, it seems to me that is lacking some contrast, or maybe it's too dark.

I swear I'm looking at ND when I see these photos rolleyes1.gif

You had a beautiful sunset on Sunday -- ours down here was a washout. Your 3rd photo looks like the roads I was traveling on Sunday morning/evening :D

Good photo -- my favorite is #1 thumb.gif

I love that first shot (and definitely prefer the color over the B&W), classic winter scene, nicely done!

Oops, I hadn't seen your reply... For what little of ND I've been able to see, I think ND and southern Manitoba have similar landscapes. Too bad your sunset wasn't as marvelous as ours...

I think the black and white photo conveys the "coldness" of winter more than the color shot. They're both very good.

I've been all the way up to Winnipeg and it looks the same as ND..sometimes even flatter which surprised me.

It was a bummer about our sunset since I was so hyped to get a good one :cry

Thank you, joe-bob. I still prefer the colour version, but I've started to like the B&W a bit as well.
