Hi all. I don't post in the People forum usually - I hang in the Landscape area, but don't hate me for it Just been to Africa again these are my favourite portraits from the trip.

Here some of the people in the village were practicing for a drama they would be performing soon. This lady had been given the role of the drunkard father. It was quite funny, once someone had translated the story to me.

This kid, along with the rest of them, were extremely happy to help moving the chairs around multiple times until they were where we wanted them. They are great kids!

The event the kids helped set up for was a graduation ceremony. Over 1000 adults had completed a Functional Adult Literacy course. This man saluted me as he marched past.

They were complete with a marching band too.

Sometimes it seems there isn't much colour in their life at all!

They don't have much!

But what they do have is a huge love for one another.

And the simple things like a mzungu (white person) taking a photo of them brings such big grins on many occasions
