where did the sub galleries go?

on the gallery settings page

didn't it used to list subcategories that I have created? How do I put a gallery into that subcategory?

To place a gallery in a subcategory, go to gallery settings and select the subcategory from the drop-down showing available subcategories for the gallery. It's not in the category drop-down - there is a second setting to specify the subcategory.
