I like these! Has anyone ever tried using a snooted flash and a slow shutter speed to light only the riders face? You could use a much slower shutter speed so that the bike is blurred, but the snooted flash would make so some/all of the rider was sharp, depending on how far away you were.
I think the last one would have looked better if you were at ground level. Shame he has a tinted lense on the helmet, he looks like he is looking straight at the lense in the first in the first 3.
As SimpsonBrothers said, a bit of motion in the first one. I had to look twice at that one. I thought he was rather tall standing next to his bike .
Nice colours, did you do any post work on them?
Nice shots in the series you have, Lower to the ground is my rule when shooting stunt bikes. Yes a slower shutter speed would show movement but it is hard to get a visual when they are going that slow.
Keep up the great work TOSU ..
Example: Try shooting some high speed wheelies at a slow shutter while panning this was done at about 100mph... Shutter 1/100

Only thing I would change would be a slower shutter speed to show that he is in motion.
Smugger for life!

Thought maybe it would make for a cool look.

This was taken for a catalog shoot laying down..
I really like number 2. A little less dof would have really made it stand out.
Some panning motion shots, especially #1 would have been good too.
Nice work. Thanks for posting.
