Very nice, Ben. Really strong composition and an intriguing face.
Now, before B.D. Gets here, I'll say it: the title and intro only distracted me from a really nice shot. I don't alway agree with him on this particular point, but here i'd rather a less cute verbal presentation.

I appreciate that neither he nor she were affected by the camera. Nice image. I'm curious. Care to share the context?
Happy too.
Wifey has been on a quest to plant a fruiting Avocado tree (not easy as I discovered).
So off we went to the local Nursery. While she was talking to the subject in the image (the local expert), I was happily scanning for images. I spied the lady (oof lady) waiting for assistance and she seemed interestingly bored and the combination of the alert expert and bored customer caught my eye,
so I held up my S90 and and then swung over to included subject and took the shot.
I don't think he even noticed, or at least he did not comment. I like others are finding these small P&S quite the ticket for street/candid images. People don't seem put off by them. You do have to get close however to make em work.
So what, Aaron? The shot is about his personality, not the sharpness of his eyes. If you want razor sharp eyes, you can find allot of them over on People. The problem is that they are often very dead eyes, where these are very much alive.
I did not say it was a flaw, I just pointed it out....
Yet it was the first thing you commented on. Far more important are the composition and the warmth and curiosity in his expression. While the technical details are important, don't get hung up on them.
