Ok this is my first shot at shooting Dragons. I really need serious feedback. My lighting sucked when I took it and I think it's a crap shot. I'm not happy with it but it'll do for now. Thanks all.

I'm far from being an expert, but, agree that the lighting leaves something to be desired. I also feel that the fence kind of overpowers the subject, particularly the lower protrusion. FYI: my wastebasket has hundreds of throwaway dragons in it.

Yeah I completely agree. I'm sure I'll get better at it.

Better then I've ever taken. First you didn't overexpose, good. Look at where
best focus falls, with very shollow DOF it's important. If your camera has spot focus
use it and try focusing on the eyes.

Hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of playing with it. How's this? Dupped the layer
and applied strong NR. Cut out dragon and merged layers then sharpened some.

After reading the comments I applied some blur to the fence.
Never give up, post process the crap out of it.rolleyes1.gifMight be savable.
