Free website statistics. expo-MAX Real Analytics vs. Google Analytics and Statcounter - an alternative or supplement? Here is my opinion.
expo-MAX Real Analytics: (go to Analytics tab) is a new service that combine the best from Google Analytics and Statcounter and then add some extra features.
Image search statistics
It is more than difficult to get image search statistics from Statcounter and Google Analytics. In expo-MAX Real Analytics it is built-in.
Take a look at these screenshots and specifically the far right column:
Position of your site in a specific search engine for all keywords.
Position of your site for a specific keyword in all search engines.
It is much more detailed than Statcounter and GA. And ..
How to get expo-MAX Real Analytics?
Homepage for expo-MAX (go to Analytics tab)
All you have to do is to sign up - copy the code and paste it into the Custom Footer on the Advanced Site-wide Customization page - the same place as you put your code from Statcounter and Google Analytics. There is an excellent and illustrative guide on their homepage.
Conclusion - my preferred free website statistics tool
To me expo-MAX Real Analytics is not an alternative to Google Analytics and Statcounter - It's my preferred free website statistics tool. I will keep both Google Analytics and Statcounter as supplemental tools (They do provide some very useful and unique features).

Looks quite good at first sight BUT it seems you can't exclude your own IP number so that you're counted as a visitor too anytime you browse your own photos... This makes the stats unreliable... Correct me if I'm wrong.
