    I agree, number 1 is unigue. I also like number three for the fact that it shows the elevons working individually. Not many people realize that the elevators aren't just elevators, but work in conjunction with the ailerons.

    I agree, number 1 is unigue. I also like number three for the fact that it shows the elevons working individually. Not many people realize that the elevators aren't just elevators, but work in conjunction with the ailerons.

    There is actually a name for them when they can preform different functions. If there is just a hinged surface that moves, attached to a fixed horizontal stabilizer they are normal elevators. If the entire horizontal stabilizer can move then it is a stabilator. If the left and right stabilators can move independently to assist roll functions similar to ailerons, then they are called tailerons.

    Ok, I've put in my know it all post for the day! :D (Now watch someone who knows more about this come along and show me up!)
