Well I got my lil SX20 late Autumn so I haven't been outdoors with it yet.
Just to goof around with it I got pics of all my NASCAR 1:24 scale Die-Cast.

Keeps me brushed up on my Still Life Photography! :D

Excellent technical execution. I realize that shooting over a mirror can sometimes be beneficial....such as showing underside detail. But in this case, particularly in the second shot, I find the double images to be very distracting. It's purely subjective, but I'd like to see the same shots over a non-reflective surface.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Agreed.....too much going on with the implements reflecting.
Many people take pics of their die-cast over a normal surface....I just wanted to be a bit more artistic about it. thumb.gif

Here it is without the implements.

And a lil shock and awe showing the intricate detail!

I do find these shots much more appealing. Again, I realize personal preference plays a large role here. Superb work.

And very nice "still life" work it is. :D You've got that lighting and setting dialed in real sweet along with the sharp.
