Flash triggers

I have two power flash units and a TTL radio trigger and using Canon a 5D2,everything works great.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I want to use two additional speedlites off camera on light stands, to fill in backgrounds, perhaps with coloured gels.

How do I link all four together, the power flash units have sensors which, will fire, triggered with an independent flash unit or on camera speedlite flash, however that is the challenge I wish to overcome, everything has to be off camera and wireless, as most TTL hotshoe extensions are only up to 50cmm, which is far too short.

Is there such a thing as an off camera hotshoe slave trigger for either a canon or Nissin speedlite ? Any relevant suggestions are welcome, thank you.

Your post is a bit hard to follow. Not sure if this helps, but I've successfully used two Canon flashes in conjunction with two cheap non-Canon flashes for similar photography. I run everything in manual, and use cheap optical triggers (Wein Peanuts and others.) I use it in conjunction with a 24' ETTL cable for firing a remote flash that's used as the master. The other three flashes, including the Canon use the optical slaves. Here's a link to the 24' ETTL cable I use. http://flashzebra.com/products/0125/

PS: Don't mess with the colors and sizes of the text in your posts, it makes them really hard to read.

    Cheers,

Couldn't read the blk font until I high lited it, as if I were going to cut and paste it somewhere else......what I have done is to use simple wireless RF triggers I bought on ebay and they are fantastic.....you do however have to shoot in manual mode just as you would with studio flash units.......

here is a link to the triggers and the ebay reseller I bought from .... RD 616 wireless RF triggers ............no cords or cables of any kind and you can mix and match brands of flashes.........as long as you shoot manual.....If your flash does not have a pc sync socket then you will need a $5USD hotshoe adapter to plug the triggers into..............................

Thanks for that - BUT ?
    Thanks for that Joel

I had a look at your suggestions, did not mean to cause confusion.

I use a Nissin Di866 and a canon EX430 speedlite. I want to use them off camera, in addition to studio power flash units. My camera hot shoe takes the radio trigger to fire my studio power flash units.
Will an optical slave unit, used with the nissin Di866 (off camera) as the master speedlite, fire, when the studio power flash fires, and will it also trigger the Canon speedlite slave ?

    Regards

    Harris

    Got it now - continued
As far as I understand it needs a slave adapter with pc sync to take the Nissin Di866 off camera, using the studio flash to trigger all three off camera speedlites depending on the Nissin to trigger the other two.

The Nissin happily triggers two off-camera speedlites when it is used
    on-camera. Hope that makes sense!
