I have set up my gallery so that the categoties are displayed on the homepage, which contain folders, and they contain the images. See here.

I have found how to organise the gallery on the homepage, and how to organise the pictures within the files. But how do I arrange the folders that contain the images? Like here.

Go here http://jessica-elyn.smugmug.com/ and click 'by position' when logged in. Then you can arrange that category page.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried as you suggested and ordered them by most recent, but when I switch back to viewing by categories and click on a category - the galleries inside that category still are not ordered by date/most recent!?

Every gallery/cat/sub-cat box will have an "arrange" in the top left corner after
clicking "position". Use it to arrange each box.

This page here and pages like it do not have an arrange or position option like some of the other pages... not that I can see anyway! headscratch.gif

Go to your homepage here and click "position" instead of "recent".

Now your category pages should have an arrange.

    Sort galleries: arrange
