Looking for any comments in regards to the Calumet BP1500 backpack.
Looks nice, and holds plenty, like the tripod mount on the pack. I have to pack my camera stuff into trails and something like this looks like the ticket.
Just curious if anyone has owned, or has experience with Calumet packs.

I will be visiting their location tomorrow (February 23rd). Is there anything specific that you would like me to look at for you?
RPCrowe, same RP Crow from POTN?
Thanks for the offer! But I listened to your advice on size, more so from the carry on aspect. I backed down in size and went with a Ape case instead. Larger than my Canon, which will be for sale soon, but not as large as the Calumet bag.
Thanks

I just picked up a Think Tank Streetwalker Harddrive (review coming when I can get the time) to hold all of my gear and really love it.

I will let you know! I looked at the Adorama joe farce case, which is slightly larger but still sized as carry one. I opted not to go with this because there were several comments about poor construction issues. Not what I want hauling around several grand worth of equipment in the woods or around town!
I found the Ape online (non-photo site) within a few bucks of the Adoroma case and I felt much better with the Ape product.
On another note, they have a really nice large pack, Ape, that is soon to be out. Too large for carry on I am afraid, but a back pack that has removable wheels and handle. I really liked this one, large pack too but that puts me back at the size of the Calumet. But it had wheels.....

Well its LARGE! Startling large as compared to the Canon.
I am happy with it, as I will have MORE than enough room for all my equipment and then some. Construction is top notch, very well thought out and a bag I am sure will be with me for a long long time.
I actually think I could have downsized to the 1800 and still had plenty of room over the canon bag I currently own.
Actually glad I didnt go with the Calumet, as it was even larger than the Ape case.
I wish I had a store close that I could lay my hands on items, very tough online.
