    fantastic shots
God made two great lights; the sun to rule by day and the moon to rule by night. He also made the stars.
And He set them all in the heavens to give light upon the earth; And God saw that it was good.

Ive seen the light and it is indeed very good

All of them Laughing.gif. I'm specifically curious about what settings/lens combinations you used to have the great DOF and stop action while keeping the exposure integrity. Those are tack sharp captures with excellent detail. thank you for sharing.

    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: No Flash

    Camera: Nikon D700

    Focal Length: 500 mm
    ISO Speed: 320
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV

    Aperture: f/5.6
    Focal Length: 500 mm
    ISO Speed: 450

1/1600-2000 freezes almost the wing action, unless there is not enough light.

Thanks for all of the info Troy! I was shooting some sparrows and, partially because of the light but also because they are so darn fast I was upwards of 1/5000 to freeze them.

See I'm a from Florida as well but have been in Massachusetts for about 15 years now... not nearly the wildlife opportunities.... aside from freezing your butt off for 1/4 of the year if you want to go out and shoot...definitely makes me miss the tropics...I'm jealous!
